Voice VUIs matter because instead of typing, clicking or tapping- we can physically seperate ourselves from our devices and speak commands naturally. Voice UIs can run code in the cloud and communicate with IoT devices, making them ideal for homes, cars and more.

Voice technology can be used in professional networking by:

• Asking voice assistants to provide best recommendations for connections based on specific skill sets.
• Asking the assistant to book a meetup with a connection on a specified date and location (virtual/real time).
• Asking the assistant to set reminders.
• Allows users to not navigate and search for particular use cases on apps when it can be controlled using voice tech.

In the future, we may be able to completely automate every step of networking. We also may make networking a single step process.
