With Google Assistant Developer Day just a few weeks away, you’re probably wondering what to expect on October 8. Whether you are an experienced developer, a brand looking to take the next step with voice, or want to become part of a fast-growing community of innovators, join the Google Assistant team as they explore new features and tools.
This is your chance to explore, learn and connect directly through interactive talks and sessions.
The day will begin with a keynote about new features that will enable better developer and consumer experiences for Google Assistant. Google’s Product Management Director for Google Assistant, Baris Gultekin and Managing Director of Global Product Partnerships, Danny Bernstein, will be sharing some of the most interesting examples of innovations from brands developers who have been driving the ecosystem forward.
Attendees will also learn from the Google Assistant team about how to use App Actions to enable users to interact with their Android apps via voice. You will hear from partners like Postmates who have seen increased demand for its food delivery service since the start of the pandemic. Learn how they've incorporated App Actions into their offering to enhance the ordering experience.
MyFitnessPal, will talk about their take on discovery as one of the world’s largest fitness communities. A session on building immersive experiences for smart displays with the Founder & CEO of CoolGames will follow.
Next, you will learn about new tools to drive discovery of your App Actions. Hear from Chris Leavens of Age of Learning about how they are using Google Assistant. Leavens and his team create interactive educational products for children worldwide. As online learning becomes more critical to education globally, attendees will hear first hand how Google Assistant is underpinning the delivery of learning experiences.
The day will end with a fireside chat with the Google Assistant Developer Relations team. Join an informal chat to answer your burning questions about recent announcements for Google Assistant.
